Review on ❄️ Snowfox Double Insulated Stainless Shaker: Ultimate Blend of Durability and Temperature Control by Walter Martin

I was looking for a cocktail shaker, read a lot of reviews and decided on this one. Beautiful presentation in a beautiful box, arrived very quickly and is a very nice kitchen/bar tool. I had a hard time putting the lid back on after filling it with ice cream and margarita ingredients. It felt like I had to press hard to hold the lid (not the cap) in place, like the gasket was squeezing the lid. I just tensed my muscles and started making the drink. The actual shake worked great and, to support other reviews, no cold hand issues. When it came time to clean the shaker (hand wash only) I washed all the parts including the loose gasket. So when I got it back I'm confused now. I can't tell which way the seal should return. Is it correct or vice versa? Does the seal have to be removed at all? So I contact Snowfox. They are super responsive and helpful. The seal must NOT be affixed. Useful for cleaning. Correct installation of the gasket is with two small protrusions up (towards the lid, not the bottom). I gave instructions to people like me with no technical background. For those wondering, the correct usage is to seal with the tabs up, twist the cap instead of pushing it in, and then put the cap back on. Ditto when it comes time to take the shaker apart. Once you get those things out of the way this is a great shaker, it does the job, looks good, keeps your hands warm but your drink stays cold and doesn't spill. Excellent customer service.
