Review on ๐ŸŽฎ ASUS GTX 1660 Super Overclocked 6GB Dual-Fan Evo Edition Graphics Card (DUAL-GTX1660S-O6G-EVO) - Enhanced for VR, HDMI DisplayPort DVI Output by Montez Vazquez

Powerful but silent card.

I haven't played games in many years and bought this to play flight sims, especially DCS World 2.5. The card is very large but fits in a full-size ATX case. The latest drivers from ASUS didn't install on Windows 10 because the installer said it was the wrong version of Windows. I checked twice and downloaded an alternative version of the driver and it still doesn't work. Went to Nvidia, then used the auto install feature and the install went without any problems. The card is very quiet, the fans turn off without load; a feature I really appreciate! I don't hear the fans running under load, but the PC is in the garage and I mostly have music playing in the background, so this isn't really the ultimate test for fan noise under load. This map plays the DCS world in high detail with no issues, no stuttering or lag; I am very happy with the performance. Specs on PC: I5-4670, 16GB DDR3 RAM, 512GB SSD. and a 22-inch monitor with 1080. ASUS offers an overclocking program. Overclocker is installed but not overclocked. I use it to display temperature and VDRAM usage while gaming. Playing DCS World uses 5.2GB of VRAM, which I believe is all the available VDRAM on the card.
