This item is very well designed and looks good in the car. While I know bumps add comfort and traction, they're still a little weird, but that's okay, I could get over it. As for a good fit, it didn't fit. The product description says it fits 14.5" to 15.5" steering wheel, yes it is. My steering wheel is 15.5" in diameter and is a GM original and even though I put the cover on the steering wheel, the OD of the wheel was the same as the OD of my wheel. so I thought it was appropriate. However, when I tried to put it on according to all the instructions I had read, it didn't even come close. According to one piece of advice I read, leaving it in the sun for a while would soften it up and that would make it stretchy enough to wear. Okay, I gave it a try, and after lying in the sun more than long enough, I tried again, but it just stretched it a bit. Yes no it was close to what you need. Maybe it would fit if my handlebars were 13.5 inches. What a disappointment it was such a beautiful cover in my HHR.
