These cute little beads look more like beads than I expected. Compared to similar plastic beads I bought from a craft store, these glass beads have a more natural iridescent sheen. The problem I have is that the center hole size is very inconsistent. I use a size 10 steel hook to attach the beads to a knitted shawl and I have found that at least half of the beads have a hole that is too small to fit my hook. For the rest of the beads I have to switch to dental floss, which is fine but not my preferred way of working. When knitting with these beads you will most likely need a needle size less than 10.
