I needed a cheap, easy and quick stabilizer for a low tech project. It's cheap, it's easy and it was quick. As advertised, it has a uniaxial anti-roll bar - great. An application is not necessary - good. Turning Bluetooth on/off works as advertised. The cradle on the iPhone presses the buttons as stated in another review. If you need landscape mode, this is the tricky part. Since the clip isn't wide enough to attach lengthwise (I have an iPhone mini, so... totally hopeless for anything bigger), you'll need to balance the phone very carefully to get it floating horizontally. There's an orientation switch on the mount, but you still need to get the landscape balance right. It's really the only thing that's hard to forgive, even if it's cheap. However, for my money and my low performance requirements, it's good enough.
