Ah, hats. Necessary evil. This hood is pretty good. really good for the price. The hat itself is big. I have a very large head, it doesn't fit too tight and doesn't fall off when I sleep. It stays on my hairline all night. You can wear any type of role (flexible wands, permanent wands, sponges, etc.) with this hat and they will fit. I even installed 12 large Havana Twists and put them in this cap and they fit! There were no color stains on my pillowcase or in the wash. All oils from my hair products are completely washed out. I believe it's reversible. Also, the ruffled fringe is quite fun and luxurious when it comes to hats. Probably too big for a child, ideal if you have a big head or very long hair.
