I hate that it is sold as a hypoallergenic remedy for house dust allergy. Yes, it's technically made from a material that doesn't attract dust mites. As well as everything that is not dust. But on the inside, it's made of a fluffy material that traps dust pretty quickly, as evidenced by the itch I get from hugging it before bed (and I've only had it for two weeks or so). The only reason it improved the dust in my bed was because my last body pillow was a few years old and dustier than my grandmother's knick-knack collection. Since it's not that old, I can breathe a little better, but that could also be a coincidence. What I can say is this: it has a lot going for it in terms of support! It was nicer on my back than any other body pillow I can think of. So if you're not allergic to dust, enjoy! If you do, however, get ready to unleash a Benadryl. One star because frankly you're all ashamed to announce this as hypoallergenic. Due to the severity of my allergies, I already take Zyrtec and Allegra at night. I wouldn't have to also take Benadryl and Afrin to embrace a "hypoallergenic" pillow.
