I just put together a similar high performance rake, they are different but good in their own way.

There were some similarities in assembling this broom over a rake I had assembled just a few days ago. First the sections are bolted together and they use a different type of connection for the business header. In this case, it's still a screw type, but the threads are different. It has a hexagonal part of the shank that can be tightened very tightly, maybe even using a ring spanner or channel lock to do this. The bristles are angled to sweep at an angle and get into corners. The bristles are made of nylon and are intentionally worn down on the ends to give them more definition when sweeping and to keep out dust or small crumbs. This would be a nice pair with a dustpan, but I think most people with brooms should wear it by now. Constructed of tubular steel with a paint-like enamel, each piece is unique enough to tell where it belongs without consulting the instructions, which I have not been able to find. The broom head is a heavy plastic mold for attaching nylon bristles and a threaded socket. The pole pieces have different purposes: an end piece with a hanging loop, the next piece with a shank with a bracket, the next piece as a spacer, and a final connection with another set of threads and a hex wrench. Everything came together without tools in about 2 minutes. Some parts may come off during use. However, if you don't use it for travel, you can always prevent it with binding or packing tape. Since the tensioner connects to the brush head on the underside, I don't see it being easy to unscrew. The bristles are thick and rough enough to sweep the kitchen or sweep leaves off the porch and sidewalk. Overall this is a well built broom. highlighted.
