Sometimes when you see a bad review about a good pedometer, you need to consider a few things: The pedometer's instructions are terrible and can be difficult to understand. I think the product can get bad reviews because the reviewer never had a chance to use the product properly due to poorly written instructions. I have been using pedometers for many years. This one is easy and does the job. It's small and precise. The cover protects the buttons from being pressed, so you don't accidentally reset anything. I've had two 345s and even after trying other models I keep coming back to this one. However, I wouldn't buy anything from heart rate monitors, but that's another story.
