Just place your foot on the toe and then on the heel. At first they didn't seem to fit, but once put on they fitted perfectly. I'm wide because her feet are wider. But if your child has narrow feet, regular sneakers two sizes larger than street size will do. Liked the canvas, it's much more flexible.
