I bought this for a banquet where everyone is a little taller. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the tie. I'd say it's about on par with J. Ferrar or Stafford (if you shop at JC Penny). It's not the tight tie that J. Ferrar likes, but it's also not as wide as Stafford's or Van Heusen's. This tie goes very well with exotic knots as well as standard knots like Windsor or Four Hands. All in all it was a good tie, and despite the differing opinions of the reviewers, it was quite colourful. It is very bright and clearly visible in the photographers' photos.
