The stand is made of premium metals and has a matte powder coating. Exactly. Assembly, no kidding. Construction - Heavy-duty parts, connections, hardware, tolerances and layouts are all first class. Ergonomics and thoughtful design, again 5 stars. The instructions are crystal clear. The only thing that could be improved is that the pivot points of the arms (which create the degrees of freedom) are fixed with tension rivets. They must be bolted in such a way that the user can determine and adjust the tension to their liking. I know these mechanical rotary joints won't have many life cycles but the discrepancy between the joints is annoying, it's not the end of the world but the user should be able to pin or lower the hair to see this beautiful place create for the array easier. I'd also like to see Torx instead of Allen (which, if/when pulled off, is Kabash). I know it costs a little more compared to the Allen fasteners and wrenches that come with it. So 4.5 stars. Worth the price. High-quality. Strong confident buy. WARNING: This is a two person monitor installation job for a first pair of monitors.
