When the dimmer is fully off, FULLY OFF, it keeps flashing and randomly lights up. This can be very dangerous and possibly result in a fire. Because the wires in the cable are not fully connected and keep touching each other when turning on and off. I UNDERSTOOD THE SMOKE AND MY SON SAID MOM SMOKE THE LAMP CABLE! I unplugged the dimmer and smoke came out of the cord, "hemp" was actually on the ELECTRIC STOVE AND WAS ON THE FIRE! WATCH THE VIDEO PLEASE DO NOT RISK YOUR FAMILY LIFE BY NOT PURCHASING THIS PRODUCT! POOR AND CAREFULLY HAVE NOT PERFORMED ANY SAFETY OR QUALITY CONTROLS ON THIS SELLER, OUR NEW APARTMENT COULD FIRE IF WE WERE NOT AT HOME! AND GOD DON'T WE ALL SLEEP!?
