80 Plus Gold is really the minimum power supply I trust these days. I struggled with 80 Plus Bronze and 80 Plus Silver is not a sufficient step forward for me. Luckily it's 80 Plus Gold.650 The performance should be more than enough to not cause problems for even a power-hungry Intel processor with the latest generation of Nvidia 3000-series processors. I also have a lot of USB devices, including multiple hard drives, and haven't seen a single power supply issue with this power supply. One feature I really like about this power supply is the flatter power cords, as you can see in one of the photos in this review. Makes cable management much easier compared to the larger, rounded cables you see in most power supplies. A 120mm fan actually only has about 18dB of power under normal load. The system volume can reach 30 dB under load. The only downside I see here is that this is not a modular power supply and at this price point you can find 80 Plus Gold modular power supplies rated at 650w for this price these days. If you can live without modularity, then this is a pretty good choice.
