My first pair of joycons were sent in for repair as they had a broken gyroscope and plastic locks. most of autumn. But I hate how loose they are and how they don't latch/lock properly once they start chipping. These 4 locks come with extra springs which is nice and some tools. For anyone dealing with electronics, I recommend purchasing a separate tool kit. Those who get involved will do their jobs. But let's say a $20 kit helps a lot more with quality and extra tools. Because some parts of the joycon that you may need are easier to disassemble with the appropriate tools. Also for those having trouble, make sure you are using the correct left/right latch and that you have it fully inserted with the spring. before you close the joycon.
