I wanted to find a swim cap that would help keep my hair dry when I want to take a bath in the bath without getting it wet. I was just hoping for something that would partially work because when I searched for items like this almost all had reviews of how non-functional and fragile they were. Boy was I surprised, that's an amazing thing! It's very durable, I've had it for a few months now, I use it often, and there hasn't been the slightest crack anywhere. It fits well, my head is bigger (not that I'm bragging ;D) and there is some material left over. It's super stretchy and comfortable. But what surprised me the most was how dry it kept my hair! My hair is quite long, mid-back, thick and curly. But the hair only got a little wet at the back of the head, and besides, the thing is pretty airtight. You need to take your time to make sure you put it on properly and pull it over your ears to prevent water from getting behind them and to the side of your head. Or you can stuff something next to the ears to fill in the small gaps between them and the cap. I personally just slip it over my ears making sure it's snug, in this case it works really well. I would definitely buy it again (wish I had bought my first one sooner) and definitely plan on getting another one. Update: I've had the same one for a full year, it still works great and has never cracked or fallen apart. .
