Great towel warmer for a small area. I can fold a large towel in half and hang it on the top bar. Next to that I can put a washcloth (folded in the middle) and a towel (folded in the middle) under the washcloth. If there are only two of us in the house, that's ideal. Our towels dry well after bathing/showering. They no longer smell musty. It's warm to the touch, but to really burn you need to hold your hand on it for a while. We leave it 24/7. I will say it's great in the cooler months. Since the large towel is longer than the block, it only gets a little warm in the middle, but we use it more for drying. The towel will be warmer because it is smaller. I put a nice, warm towel on the back of my head while I dry myself off with a large towel. It warms me up and makes me happy. I recommend this heated towel rail for small bathrooms.
