I love this item! I've had mine for 11 1/2 months. It doesn't smell and both sides hold up well (I only use it for dishes). I just had to throw out the first one because I used it for the melted cheese in the enchilada pan and the cheese got into the scrubber and didn't get it off. I've used it for cheese before and had no problems, so I'm not sure why the cheese messed it up this time. Anyway, almost a year for a sponge is pretty amazing. Also, it was a two pack so I thought it was a good price.
