I've only used in I've measured metal ring sizes in the past and thought this looked like a pretty quick and easy solution to shrinking the ring. They just go ahead and adjusted the ring size for me pretty well (the ring I made was a few sizes too big and I don't think that's the intent of those sizes). Contains 4 size adjusters, 3 of each size. One strip is enough to measure at least 2-3 rings. The advantage over metal gauges that attach to the inside of the ring is that they are much easier to install and will not scratch the ring. Not sure how it will last, but with the amount included, you have plenty of substitutions!
