Review on πŸ“± Logitech K480: Bluetooth Multi-Device Keyboard with Phone Holder for Windows, Mac, Android and iOS by Dagmara Chmielewska ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything in the product suited me, the price is generally perfect.

It was successful in being tested on a few different mobile devices, including smartphones. But, it was purchased as a wireless keyboard for a desktop computer with a mini-ITX casing that is currently located in the living room. Personal computer with Windows 7 operating system with Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260+Bluetooth Combo wireless networking adapter. First, I struggled for a significant amount of time, was unable to establish a connection with the Computer (there was a loss of connection), and I wanted to take it with me to the service as soon as possible. Yet, the issue, as it has been in the past, was mental. It worked perfectly once I updated the drivers for the wireless adapter and turned the Bluetooth Support Service to Automatic Start (Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Services). I was unable to establish a connection with a Sony TV (used as a monitor, 60 "screen, Bluetooth 3.0). At a distance of four meters from the television, I was able to use this keyboard without encountering any issues (only the letters are already hard to see).

Pros
  • A quick connection (it only takes a few seconds), as well as the capacity to link three Bluetooth devices. Check it out because it is inexpensive and has a battery life that the maker promises will last up to two years. I haven't experienced any slowdowns or freezes as of now.
Cons
  • There are challenges involved in establishing a connection to a stationary personal computer, and the official Logitech website provides essentially little information pertaining to this problem. In any case, the guidance offered on the Logitech website as well as the specialized software offered on the site for Logitech Options were unable to be of assistance to me. You are however able to reassign specific keys with its assistance (I did not check it myself). Also, the first pairing with the device does not always go smoothly, and you may need to try it multiple times before it works (maybe it's just me). A somewhat weighty keyboard (weight 820 g). It is convenient to work on the table, but it is a very questionable pleasure to carry it with you along with a tablet. While it is convenient to work on the table, it is not convenient to carry it with you (everything will weigh like a small laptop).
