I have a couple of these, some cheap plastic and some good quality brass. I think this one is my favorite and I made this my sink shaving set. I like the stand itself - compact but there's room for everything: bowls, brushes and razors. Also, I like how the brush is tipped over the bowl - it helps dry out the brush, but it also helps keep the bowl in place. The shell itself is good - it's metal, but has a coating on the outside that's almost plastic. This makes it easier to grip. The only issue I have with this stand is that the razor holder does not fit some shorter handle razors - only regular and long ones. Also, I like it very much and I think it's a good price.
