Review on DEEPCOOL Gamma Archer CPU Air Cooler with 120mm Fan for Intel and AMD Processors - High Airflow Design by Ada Lech (Ada Lech) ᠌

Poor quality item, not what it needs.

With all the bonuses and goodies of budget coolers from DeepCool, I do not recommend taking Gamma Archer, and here's why: It was necessary to assemble the cheapest possible computer using components from the store (we don’t consider second-hand ones at all, friends really believe in the store’s guarantee), I decided to try this cooler as a cooler (although I had taken gammamax300 in a couple of assemblies). What is wrong: 1. Ugly and uncomfortable packaging with thermal paste, in fact, they simply spat thermal paste into a piece of paper and wrapped it up. 2. One of the worst bindings on the market in general. In fact, the mount is classic, but not made to size, and in order to pull the cooler onto the mother without breaking the board, I had to unscrew the turntable, slightly bend the arc on which the cooler is attached, fix the radiator, and only then put the turntable on. As a result: I do not recommend this cooler for purchase, it is better to throw a bottle of cola/beer on top and buy gammamax300 (or any of its analogues), the suffering with the installation is not worth it.

Pros
  • Silence, fan size, value for money
Cons
  • The most poor equipment, even the instructions are written on the box, and not on a piece of paper. Terrible installation and workmanship of the AM4 socket mount.
