Works better than expected

What I like about this collar is the price. I liked the fact that I didn't have to spend $100 on a training collar to get the same results. The size of the buttons on the remote control. My eyesight is fine, but people like my mother who has vision problems can clearly see the buttons on the remote control. Added to this is the simple operation of the remote control. Adjusting the power to the three modes was extremely easy. The reason I bought this collar is to teach my Great Dane puppy to listen to commands. She is a good dog but with her size I had to deal with her behavior. What I would change is charging the collar receiver. The first time I charged it when it was done the light turned green but the second time the light flashed red for a while and then just went off and stopped flashing. When I unplugged it and plugged it back in, it did the same thing. The traffic light would not turn green. So I wasn't entirely sure if the collar was fully charged or not. So I turned it on and plugged it back into the remote and the light started flashing green. So I'm assuming the collar was fully charged. I would like to see some sort of indicator other than a light showing the collar is charged. Something similar to what is on the remote control. For the most part I am satisfied with my purchase. It helps me with my dog and makes her listen. I've used it when taking her to our local hardware store and she didn't pull on the leash or jump on other customers. She obeyed my commands and all I had to do was use the vibration mode on her. She really doesn't like that feeling. I keep the static shock mode on when she's not really responding to the vibration stimulation. Overall a good buy. A word of caution, I would test the amperage on myself to see what your dog would experience. To start, I set the static shock to a low setting. About three bars. It was enough to get my attention, so I hope it will be enough to get their attention too.
