A really necessary purchase, glad I found this product.

Everywhere they sing praises to the camera, I also bought it. My review is MAXIMUM SUBJECTIVE, from someone who is used to a DSLR, and now looks at some things like a ram at a new gate. I use it in conjunction with 18-105 f4 (cool for video) and Sigma 30 1.4 (cool for photos), and the video shoots more voluminously and clearly. Most of the shortcomings are personal nitpicking, I am satisfied with the camera, I wanted to get pictures no worse than on Nikon d5200, and video and autofocus are a step better, I got it! My whole tirade could fit in one sentence: The battery is bottom, autofocus is a beast, but the menu is a maze and the prices are insane!

Pros
  • - fast (artistic) autofocus in video and its settings. Autofocus is better than many of Sony's more expensive mirrorless cameras. You can check on the internet. - you can charge the powerbank, although I do not suffer from this - good quality full hd 60 fps, I havenโ€™t used all these slogs and stuff yet, I donโ€™t like 4k only in dynamics - some kind of strobe on contrasting elements, I thought marriage or problems with the SD card, but they say itโ€™s 24-30 fps for everyone. And the rolling tent is outrageous. - ISO, including AutoISO, is better than in Nikon d5200, and the video picture is cleaner. - I did not notice overheating, but with the tweak it was not at all, there are no restrictions on recording, I removed the annoying NTSC window when switching to 60fps. - good quality 100/120fps slow motion video.
Cons
  • - an uncomfortable grip, I have a small hand and even so the little finger hangs in the air, and the middle one rests on the lens. - the price of the carcass has fallen, but the lenses will only rise in price, Sony has exorbitant appetites even in comparison with analogues from Canon and Nikon, Sigma to help for crop. - easily soiled, flimsy screen, pressed a little with a finger - divorces of "lightning" as if Tetris pressed. In addition, the angles of its rotation are of little use. Color rendition and corners are weak. Film or glass will have to be purchased. Max brightness is not enough even in cloudy weather. - no focusing on a single point (decided by the EXPANDED SPOT mode). For sometimes the focus catches everything in the background, except for the person in front. - the record button is in an inconvenient place, near the strap, practically, with one hand and holding and pressing is not convenient. Yes, you can set it to another button, but there are so few of them to sacrifice them. - and again the screen - after the d5200 it seems noticeably smaller, and with the "proprietary" design of the settings, it's generally mockingly small. In 4K mode, it is so dark that you can not see anything on the street what you are shooting. - it turns on for two seconds, after the DSLR it's wild, especially for a carcass of such a price and positioning. - the battery is melting before our eyes, even scrolling through the menu for 1-2 minutes. Bought two more non-original with charging. For charging in the carcass is not convenient and then everything will loosen. 250 photos without flash and 22 minutes full hd video. BOTTOM! - MENU! Only the lazy one did not scold him, even closing his eyes to the fact that most of the names are abbreviated and without a manual you will not immediately understand what is written at all. Also, the sorting of items is illogical. You can make your own menus only in older models. - focusing on the eyes, turned out to be more of a marketing chip than a real one. 80% it does not work even on a proprietary lens, you need to catch a direct close-up. Nibbling: - Sony is a straight vacuum cleaner, and a matrix and a carcass. At home (!) I put a clean lens on a new carcass a couple of times and already picked up dust. I donโ€™t know what the case is made of some kind of material that directly attracts all the dust, Nikon didnโ€™t have this.
