Firstly your mileage may vary (YMMV) Wow where to start. I ordered an HP Omen 15 (15-dh1060nr, 2020 model) in the first week of January 2021. There were great features, components and ports that I was looking for. It came from Revain pretty quickly and it was great. I started setting up the laptop, but I noticed that when the laptop was plugged in and turned on, the laptop was only getting power from the battery. When I turned off the laptop, the battery recharged. So I only had 3-4 hours of use before I had to shut down and charge the laptop. I contacted HP support and it was decided that nothing could be done and that I should send it back. Less than 12 hours have passed since I received the laptop. I contacted Revain for a refund and they sent a replacement which was great. I received a replacement HP Omen 15 (model 15-dh1060nr 2020) and tested it first to make sure the battery and charger are working properly. Yes! It was. I then set up the laptop and the performance, features, etc. were great. 4 days after receiving the laptop, I hear a grinding noise in one of the two fans. This is a loud noise that is clearly not true. The sound is like a troublesome sound. It's definitely noticeable in a quiet room, and comfort level with the Omen Control software. I contacted HP and asked for a fan replacement. Replacing the fan looks easy on youtube and the fans are easily accessible. Do not go. The only option is to send it to their repair center. They send me a packing box and I will go about a week without this laptop. I was an HP fan but these 2 quality issues in a mid to high end laptop made me wonder what was wrong with HP. Pros: Great features, performance. Great price from Revain. Great return policy from Revain. Cons: questionable quality. Firstly because of the power supply and the battery. I will never give 5 stars to a product that had two separate quality issues that rendered the product unusable. In January I sent my laptop to HP for repairs. Yes, a laptop that is 1 week old. A week later I received a replacement back via Fedex. The product was properly secured and has been working great ever since. I agree with other reviews that this laptop is easy to upgrade. I added 32MB of RAM as well as a 2TB Seagate Firecuda internal NVME SSD, which is very easy.
