This computer does exactly what it promises. It's very fast and very well made. The screen is bright and clear. Setup was easy with no ton of malware. I needed a Thunderbolt 3 laptop for multiple instances on multiple monitors. I don't have a suitable hub for 2 additional monitors yet, but it works great with one. I bought a 4TB external hard drive and an external DVD player and now I have all the space and storage I need. Excellent purchase.

I liked the resolution and frame rate. We didn't like the meager SSD; I replaced 512 with 2TB. Heat is an issue, so buy a stand with a fan or find a way to support it to dissipate the heat. Remember to leave it plugged into the wall while playing; Otherwise, severe degradation will occur to extend battery life.

If you spend $1500 on a gaming laptop direct from HP that claims to have G-Sync (claims more than 4 times nice and big in the ad) You expect it HAS G-Sync! You also expect it to be free of dents (the dark spot in the picture isn't a smudge) or a box that looks like it's been opened a hundred times. I had an AMD/1660TI HP Omen 15 variant (which didn't claim to have G-Sync by the way) that ran much smoother than this one. And yes, I have updated all drivers. The laptop is fast and has excellent features and size. The battery life is short, but makes sense since the computer is very resource-intensive. Outstanding speed and performance.

So, my first review of this laptop was negative as the SSD died after 3 months of use. I was very upset knowing that due to - For the Covid RMA process it will take months to repair but wait 1 week after talking to them about the issue and my laptop will already arrive tomorrow . Excellent service from HP would recommend outstanding customer service and an unrealistic RMA timeframe which I don't think I've had this with any other manufacturer or retailer.
