I like this little device as I use it for outdoor radio, mostly listening to sports talks or games. Most radio apps cannot broadcast live local games. I was also impressed with the speaker volume, loud enough for a room or at an outdoor table. Finally, you have connections for a charger for your phone, an emergency flashlight if needed, no need for AA batteries, and a weather radio. I wanted to listen to regular AM FM radio where I had to dance while buying AA batteries - I hate that. The battery charges quickly and lasts for several days. I'll admit you have to be a bit intuitive to use the controls, but I don't mind all the good stuff.
