The record itself isn't as heavy as we'd like it to be. I put a security plate on the gate.

This plate is a replacement for the standard plate which was attached with 2 very short screws. The plate comes with 4 pieces. 3 1/2" screws and 2pcs 1" screws. Longer screws not only secure the panel in the door frame but also in the door frame, making the door more secure. Just one small problem. The panel itself is not as heavy as we would like it.I installed a protection plate on the same door and the protection plate is much thicker.Overall much more secure than the standard plate that comes with the door lock.
