I've never liked a lot of Christmas decorations but I've recently moved and plan to decorate more this year. I really like the design and the rustic look. It's also practical, both in terms of price and use. I didn't want to spend a small fortune on a piece of jewelry that would only be worn for one season and could last a long time, so I was happy with the price. You have to assemble it yourself, which also means you can customize it to fit your tree. So it works if we have a bigger tree one year and a smaller one another year. The info says it can be adjusted up to 28 inches in diameter and while I haven't measured it seems correct. Instructions are included, but assembly is fairly intuitive: take a panel, place it next to another panel, insert the screws, tighten, and repeat the process. Depending on the size of the tree, you can use 3-5 panels. It's easy to disassemble and since it's a series of panels you can simply stack them on top of each other and put them away at the end of the season without taking up much storage space. I also like that you can rotate the collar so you can choose whether or not to display the artwork. We need to see what the base of our Christmas tree looks like this year to decide whether to make it stand out with a brightly colored panel or a non-decorative electroplated metal finish that looks good on its own.
