Overall a great design for an economical drafting table for a young person My daughter loves it She mentioned that she appreciates that she can easily raise or lower the pen holder depending on the nature of her project (sometimes you want to rest your hands, sometimes it's better to have it on top so things don't slip ).Very happy with this purchase after a few hiccups..
