Works as advertised. I don't want to meet people who don't get it because it's not 100% foolproof. It's not clear in directions, but there is "up" and "down". The "top" has a recess into which the neck of the balloon enters. Turning it upside down messes up the whole process. Otherwise, the instructions are very simple - I was running balloons within minutes of opening the Tie-Not pack. After all, they take longer to fill than connect, and my fingers don't hurt.
