Review on Tru-Pull Lite Knee Support Brace by DonJoy: Right Leg, Medium by Desmin Dickerson

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Update to my previous post

Availability My knee hurts less than when I first posted this so today I decided to try this knee brace on again to see how it feels. It's a lot more comfortable than it originally was. Not sure what the difference is but note that they offer very different support than the knee pads I've been wearing for the past few weeks. Do your homework and wear what is most comfortable. I've worn this brand to ski for years after a volleyball injury. I tried it again today, so I don't know how else to rate it. There is no cover over the kneecap and I have been wearing a brace for the past two weeks. I'll see how it works. I have four stars for the brand because the knee pads that I have used for skiing for many years stabilize my knee well. It is not. A flat piece of metal that digs into your knee. This one also has an oddly shaped piece

Pros
  • Includes removable plastic hinges that provide additional center/side stability. Provides constant tension on the patella during flexion and extension, aligning the patella.
