I ordered this because the piece on my old keyring that you attach your keyring to broke off. As others have said you will need to remove the battery plate from your old key fob. It flexed a bit and had to be straightened out with needle nose pliers before it could be put back into the new case. The buttons were unresponsive at first, I had to open the case a couple of times to further flex the part on the battery plate until it was firmly in contact with the small gold square on the electronics side of the case. I'm still giving 5 stars because with a few minutes of patience (and only a few bucks) I can wear my keychain on my keychain again!
