It seems to fit more like 14 or 14 Max -16 after washing and drying. I haven't used hot on any of them, but they still shrink, and I absolutely refuse to dry my baby clothes just because companies don't pre-shrink their fabrics before production. So if you really need 18 I say skip that and find something better but if you can only buy a size or two these jackets are really cute and cozy and soft on the inside. and seems to be a nice warm jacket for spring. Also this price is worth a try.
