This little lamp is ideal for small spaces that need the natural ambient light that only a salt lamp can provide. Of course, each lamp is unique due to the properties of the salt that makes up the majority of the lamp. Mine weighs just over six pounds. and has an interesting triangular/pyramidal shape, depending on which side you're looking at. The base is small and unobtrusive, but it keeps everything balanced and stable on a flat surface. The lamp is controlled by a dimmer on the power cord located approximately 18 inches from the base of the lamp. The lamp inside is small but bright enough to give off a decent amount of light. I've included a picture of my lamp at full brightness and a short full spectrum video of the dimmer wheel. Plus, the dimming wheel is easy to control with one finger - no fiddling with the controls The lamp is securely packed in a foam cushion, but be sure to check carefully as a spare bulb is also tucked inside Finally the lamp comes with instructions that tell you how to replace the lightbulb and take care of your lamp. I can't speak to the health benefits of these salt lamps, but I love the way they look indoors when off and the warm ambient light they give off when on. look a little different than me but it will be just as beautiful. I am very happy with this design and would love to add it to my home decor.
