Great bed. Perfect fit for my 4 1/2 year old. Bought for a holiday and haven't used it yet but blew it up and it stayed full for a week. Explodes quickly and there is a way to open the valve by turning off the one-way valve so you can easily deflate it. It's easy to get back into the pump bag. I love the canopy to reduce the squeaky noise these beds can make while sleeping. Ours didn't have a terrible smell, just the normal smell that an inflatable raft would have, and it dissipated and disappeared after a day of the explosion. Yes, the pump is noisy, but at least it comes with an electric pump and inflates quickly. Overall excellent value for money.
