Review on HP 24Uh 24" Backlit Monitor 1920x1080p, 60Hz, LCD with HD Resolution - K5A38AA#ABA by Steven Wright

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good inexpensive second monitor, delivered quickly!

I've had other HP monitors and while this is on the low end for quality and features, it makes a great second monitor. I'm using it alongside an old HP w2408h which is also a 24 inch monitor but has a different aspect ratio so all I had to do was tweak the display settings in Windows 10 so the size doesn't change drastically when I'm looking at something from a screen to one move to the other. If you use two screens, you usually get 2 of the same model. However, my home office was abruptly terminated, so I didn't want to spend the money on two new monitors, especially since my old HP still worked perfectly and looked a little better. It has settings for brightness/contrast, color, and a few other options, but no physical height adjustment, only tilt. I taped a hardcover novel underneath to bring it up to the height of my existing monitor. Color wise it looks a bit washed out compared to my old HP monitor. Even after fully adjusting the saturation for my old monitor's RGB it still excels. This new monitor delivers crisp text and graphics. us (my senior HP is 8 years old). It came with a VGA cable which I replaced with a DVI cable as my other monitor was already using the VGA input. The seller sent this out very quickly and I'm grateful for that as I was trying to work with one monitor when they used to have 2 in the office - it's killer for graphic design work.
