This development module solved my printing problem. The problem was that the white paper was tinted pink (magenta) when printed. Examining the imaging kit, I noticed that all developer blocks EXCEPT the magenta block had clean, shiny blue "rollers" on the bottom. On the other hand, the "roller" on the magenta developer unit was coated with toner powder. A streak of magenta toner powder was visible on the tan film-like surface beneath the developer nodes. Although Lexmark recommends not touching it, I still wiped it down with a damp, soft cloth and then gently dried it with a dry, soft cloth. I also had to clean the black "roller" at the front of the machine just above the paper tray. This roll was also coated with magenta toner. Once again I used a damp cloth and wiped down this roller bar. After cleaning and installing this new developer unit, the printer works properly again. The defective developer unit still contained quite a bit of toner powder. I will be using this powder to refill my magenta toner cartridge. (I have yet to buy toner cartridge CHIPS as I don't know how to reset these chips. There is probably a way, I just don't know what it is.)
