Review on HDMI & IR Extender Balun Set via Single 75ohm RG-6U Coax Cable with F Connection by Chris Byers

I was planning to add more HDMI signals to my home, but I didn't want to run a heavy HDMI cable through walls and ceilings. I already have RG6 cables all over the house. It seemed like a good option and my runs are 40 feet or less. Unfortunately they don't work. The included "manual" was minimal and useless. I've tried every possible connection to my DVR, DVD player and several brands of flat screen TVs. Nothing. I've tried various RG6 cables including a 5 foot RG6 cable that Direct TV left at my house. Bought a cable tester. All cables are well tested. There are no splitters or connectors. They just don't work. I had a delay in installing it and the seller refused to return it. They offered troubleshooting help but didn't respond to me after I gave them my information. I asked about the manufacturer's warranty as it was less than 6 months old and got no response. It seems that this company could be the manufacturer or distributor of these items. I can't judge that based on the information provided. If you buy them, you must install or test them immediately.
