These are now some of my favorite basics. The knit silk fabric is soft and smooth, the position of the leg openings and elastic edges keep them from riding up, and the natural antimicrobial and moisture-balancing properties are great for keeping sensitive skin healthy. They can either be hand-washed or washed in the machine on delicate cycle, cold water, in a lingerie bag, and they should definitely be air-dried, but they do dry quickly. The leg opening creates a bit of a panty line, but I don't really care about that; the only other small imperfection is that the leg elastic tends to flip under in back, but that's also very minor. Since I found these and their bikini style silk undies, I've been slowly replacing my cotton and synthetic underwear with them.I'm 5'5", 39" hips with a fairly round butt, and the M fits me well.
