Unlike most ratchet straps, which have a length of plastic teeth (ratchets) sewn into the bottom of the strap, this strap is fully adjustable as it utilizes the nylon strap's natural grooves to snap. The only downside I see is that, like most ratchet straps, you have to pull a little on the end of the strap to loosen the tension so you can move the little lever on the bottom of the strap. Buckle. It would be better if they could design the buckle so that when the front of the whole buckle is lifted the strap will be released.
