I'm changing my original rating to 1 star. Port 1 stopped working after 3 months, along with the USB slots. It also burned the USB dongle for my wireless keyboard and mouse. The switch worked perfectly right away. It works with Linux. I'm using Linux Mint, but I'm pretty sure it will work on any other Linux OS. The only thing that bothered me is that the cables are short. I had to buy a longer cable for one of my more distant PCs.
