Unusual Building Block Set

This set includes both painted wooden blocks and raised, comb-like structures used in block building. The knotted designs fit snugly into the wooden shapes, making it easy to put pieces together and also doubles as a learning tool for learning how to match shapes. This is a really unique approach to building blocks that my kids loved so much. My 2 year old can play with this set for a long time without getting bored which is a big plus. My 5 year old loves the novelty of putting knotted pieces together and creating structure. I love that it comes in a neat carry case. with handle for easy carrying. The lid of the container doubles as a shape sorter, although it is very fragile and I could easily break it if children are playing without adult supervision. One thing to note; There is no trapezoidal hole in the lid, but a trapezoidal shape can fit in a square hole (not really conducive to shape matching). I'd love to see more gnarly base parts to build - I only counted 2 in my kit. which really isn't enough, especially if you have more than one child. Your kids will definitely want to build on a table or hard floor since building on carpet is next to impossible. Also, and this is very important, if you have children who are teething, this toy is not for them as some parts are small. enough to suffocate. Although there are a few things that need improvement, I enjoyed this set and would recommend it to anyone who has small building sets. the world of this set, so here's what. I can almost guarantee your kids will love this set and while it's not perfect, it does help with learning shapes, colors and motor skills and is well worth the price as an added bonus to your block collection. Finally, DO NOT ATTACK THEM. just trust me
