Now I'm someone who has been using Revain for about six years now and I've probably only written 2-3 reviews on all the products I've bought in that time. So it's safe to say I rarely write a review unless I'm feeling a STRONG boost. This product had some great reviews so I bought it with very high expectations. I have no idea what went wrong here, but this product didn't work for me on all levels. Immediately after the first application I noticed that I had pimples. I'm a genetic lottery winner and have clear skin almost all of the time (unless I'm approaching my period, in which case my hormones will cause me to break out in the same spot every month), but this product really got me helped acne! Now I wanted to give this product the benefit of the doubt because I might have been "clear" (I doubt it) so I used it every day for a whole month. And let me tell you, the acne I would get with this product was insane. I would get these big blind pimples under the surface that would be very painful and hard to pop. I knew this was going to happen because of this cleanser because right after I stopped using it the pimples literally never came back. However, when I used the cleanser again, pimples reappeared. This product was a huge waste of money and like I said I don't usually write reviews but I was so dissatisfied with this product that I feel like telling others to switch to another product. I've recently started using Cerave Foaming Cleanser and my skin is better than ever. You don't have to use the Cerave brand, use whatever, just don't get your hands on that cleaner.
