I bought several packs of these gummies for my almost 13 year old cat. Although she is in great shape for her age, I would have preferred a more proactive or preventive approach to her physical and mental health rather than waiting for something to happen to take action. I actually gave her 1 Composure Gum first. The poor thing could hardly hold her head up and walking was a bit difficult. While the serenity calmed her down considerably, too much in my opinion, the side effects she experienced were uncomfortable. She must have thrown up at least 6 or 7 times a night and that's not typical of her. A few days later I gave her 1 chewable multivitamin in the hope that her reaction to the self-control gum would be isolated. desired. As with Composure, she was very ill. I felt absolutely awful, it was a few days before she started eating again. I feel like her appetite has decreased in general, but her mood has improved and she looks in a better mood. I gave this product a 2 star rating based on my cat's experience with these gummies. It's hard to judge anything based on a cat's subjective experience, but I'm pretty sure she didn't enjoy throwing up all night. Although chewing gum works as advertised, in this case the disadvantages outweigh the advantages.
