This booster seat isn't bad after playing with the harnesses a bit. In the front seat, I was able to set it up as instructed in the instructions, using both the rear straps and the front straps around the headrest. I had to tilt the seat as far forward/straight up and down as possible to keep the booster seat level, otherwise the booster seat reclined very uncomfortably because the front straps are shorter than I think, which is logical. On the back, I can tie the rear straps around the back seat headrest and the front strap around the front seat headrest to hang the booster seat in a comfortable position for my pup. Either way, my dog likes to perch on the seat to gain height and stick his face out the open window. The fleece underside helps his paws cling to an otherwise slippery leather seat.
