Review on Reese 50082 Custom Install Brackets by James Wiley

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works for 2009 F350 Crew Cab Long Bed Gas

They match the description except I had to shave the hair off the passenger side front with a grinder. It wasn't exactly level, it was maybe 1/16" off where the factory rivets in the frame didn't fit in the bracket holes. The whole bracket had to move forward 1/16 and then it was ok and straight up bolted on. The drivers side of my 2009 long bed F350 truck fits perfectly. no problem at all moving the lines as they stowed neatly in the frame and the U-bolt went through everything with very little interference. It should be noted that the 5th A Class 8/8" bolt going through the frame requires 212 ft-lbs of torque. Lying on your back in the mud with no lift makes it almost impossible to achieve that torque as you're relying on the Leaving arm strength and already sick of the drilling and crawling and crawling If you are installing this and worried about hitting the number 212 I would suggest installing everything, tightening everything else and on your next oil change or changing tires. Or do it after your shoulders have had time to recover from everything else. If you can turn a wrench, start a drill, then you can install it. The U-bolts that run around the frame may need to be trimmed as it looks like if your suspension goes down the bolt could interfere with your leaf springs on the F350 like mine as the frame is already down and quite a lot of thread sticks out. .
