I bought these scarves with built in masks to wear in situations where 1) I need to put my mask on and off a lot and 2) I want to look a little more professional. These masks are suitable for this. However, it's important to note that while they're multi-layered, they're thin and transparent, so they're likely to offer minimal protection from viruses. You can improve this by using the filter bag (filter not included). The scarf is definitely comfortable to wear, and it's nice that the shoulder straps are soft and adjustable. I found it slipped off my nose fairly easily (if I wasn't over-tightening the straps); A nose clip would help a lot, especially as I wear glasses. Even if the scarf just hangs around the neck, it definitely doesn't look as pretty as a "normal" (not a mask) scarf; You have to be careful to tighten the straps if you want it to look better. However, these scarves work for me in certain situations and overall I would recommend them.
