Great product. Easy assembly and good adhesion. I really appreciate the black bar, it disappears from my monitor stand making it appear as if the stand itself is emitting light. Good LED density, the wall behind my monitor is fully lit. In other words, even though the strip is flush against the wall, I don't see any bright spots from each LED (I have 2 strips next to each other, but even with 1 I think it would be ok). IMPORTANT: yes. Working on a smart plug. I was concerned that turning off the strip controller with the smart socket would reset it and it wouldn't turn back on when the socket was powered on. But it works great. I chose the color and brightness of the light and now I can turn it on and off with my phone. Disadvantage: LEDs get very hot. It's ok but I underestimated how hot they would be. Don't get me wrong, it's only noticeable when you put your finger on the diode, it doesn't look like a heat ray like a halogen or anything. With that in mind, I can't think of a use case that would be unduly impacted by this. I would still be willing to install this bar on electronics. All in all a great product. I highly recommend!
