Review on Magnetic Wreath Hanger White F 901 by Dwayne Quarles

I liked the idea of this magnetic hanger to hang a Christmas wreath on our front door, but it couldn't hold the weight of a simple round Christmas wreath. I read on the packaging that you have to leave it attached to a new surface for a few hours before actually hanging anything on it, so I did. I placed the two magnetic pieces together on the glass and left them there for a little over three hours. I was trying to hang a real Christmas wreath that weighs about 2-3 pounds and the magnets fell off the glass right away. I tried again the next day but unfortunately the same result so I decided to return it. It was a good idea, especially as it has a coating that helps it stick to the glass easily when you're trying to stretch your arms around the door to get it in place, but it just couldn't support any real weight . .Now I'm wondering if the plastic coating actually affects the strength of the magnets.
